    The other thing that has to do with raising the boiling point is the pressure the rad cap lets the system hold in. There are some guys in the 3s world that run highly modified cars and live in the desert heat. The stock 3s cap holds 13 psi if I remember right. One of them discovered a TRD rad cap that holds 18 psi (?) fit perfectly and it helped keep temperatures down.

    running pure antifreeze can cause overheating problems. a pure coolant solution will not readily absorb or release heat. keep the concentration below 70%. Was told it was due to the molecular bonding of the molecules...but wtf do I know.
