I recently bought a 2004 grand prix gt2.. When starting the engine all the gauges max out and return to normal but that being said its also sluggish to start resulting in me having to give it gas to start it and/or to keep it running. I added some injector cleaner to a tank of gas that was 3/4 way full. I had filled the tank the day before. When j picked up the car it had 1/4 tank... Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

Sounds like a fueling issue. Check the fuel pressure at the rail and then start the car again and check it. Could be a dying fuel pump. What's the mileage?

Clean your MAF sensor and throttle body. Search the forums as what you describe sounds like a common problem. Clean MAF with electronic safe cleaner, clean all the carbon buildup on throttle body with carb cleaner.

    And smile it's Blacktooth Grin!

It has 153,000 miles and i didnt notice the issue until i filled the tank, hence why i went ahead and added the injector cleaner.. Who knows the last time it had a full tank of gas in it.. Thanks for the suggestions! Will try them out asap!
