A buddy of mine was made and offer for a newer bodied Grand Am in exchange for his 93 probe and he said that the Ga is puttin out 458hp to the wheels with a 20lb whipple charger on a 3800 series2 GP. My question is is that number he was quoted correct it seems a bit high to me any help would be cool here

Without any idea of the mods.. Who knows.

If the guy says it's that WHP, then he must have a dyno slip to back that up, right?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

A whipple'd 3800 would make well north of 450~ WHP with the correct pulley size/cooling setup/tune.

    Jobob made nearly 600WHP.

    In a GA though?

    LOL, yeah right.

You can get it in there. And if he's serious about the trade. Tell him you can't "take some other guys word for it on the numbers", he can go spend $100 and have it dyno'd to prove it out.
