Hi, I just bought a 06 GP with 85,000 miles on it. The problem it has is on occasion, after being at a stop and then moving forward, it's like the transmission is in neutral for a good second before it actually goes into 1st gear, and when it does go it in slams into gear because of the higher engine RPM's. It did it once too going into reverse. It only does it occasionally, but I really don't like it. I changed the fluid and filter (the old fluid was brownish red) but it didn't help. There were a couple small metal shavings in the pan, but didn't seem abnormal. I have yet to cut the old filter apart to see what it looks like inside. Anyone know what's going on?
