    Specs

    forged bottom end 9.5:1
cnc ported heads 110# springs, double roller oer
    ported gen3
    autolite 103
    Nic cam
3" exhaust, downpipe back, stock manifolds
    42# injectors
    zzp can tune
    Northstar tb

looking to know safe size pulley and absolute min size pulley. Headers are coming in a few months and I need to go a get a real tune until then. I was also going to switch to auto lite 104s, should I stick with stock gap? I got a hf scan tool but I can't find kr on it so I have no idea where I am at. I want a larger pulley to have some options during the tune, any input would be great

    many thanks

First things first.. You need a way to monitor KR. Get an aeroforce gauge before anything else.

As for safe pulley size, the stock 3.8. You will need headers before dropping pulley size too far..

    Thanks for the reply

I need to get it tuned first, money is going for that first. I'll get knock checked during the dyno, I am sure I need a larger pulley but I was hoping a 3.4 would be pretty safe for the time being. Headers and monitoring will be bought before I hit the track. Hopefully sooner than later.

With a cam and ported heads you'd probably be able to run a 3.4

I would have to agree with smutty I was thinking 3.5-3.4 territory.
