Ok so i drove my car home from mechanic shop and it drove fine. i get home and lift the car to change struts, springs, sway bars. I get the back done and start to do the front but i needed to turn the wheel so i start the car and turn the wheel. My buddy was next to the exhaust so i figured hey give it a lil reve and see if he would jump but it acted like it wasnt getting fuel(wouldnt die) and rpms wouldnt go up but when i let off the pedel it would reve up? What the heck. I didnt pinch any fuel lines i check. So what gives? im lost? any help would be great!

Thanks for telling us the year you have, which motor? Since you are a cable driven throttle on the 99, check the cable.

04 is totally different than a 99. Please start your own thread to go over this. Likely you need to clean your TB.

i found the problem on my ride. I looked under the hood and there was avacum near the throttle body that had one of those s***** plastic elbows that bust with age and it broke and came off and would let it work right. I taped it up to keep pressure on the line till i get to autozone to get new elbows.
