    Hello,
I am new to this forum and also to Grand Prix's I have just let go of my 2002 trans am and am currently looking at a GP GTP Perf Group.
Not to sure on the milage and such as it is a repo sitting at a guy I do work for's lot. I am supposed to be getting the numbers and info today for it. Anyway what would be any issues that I would look for with these cars upon test driving? Rusty areas or otherwise just problem areas. My wife has a 2002 monte carlo SS pace car edition so im sure info on here will also help with her car as well, since its a NA 3.8. I will be looking to try to get about 300-320 horse out of the GP if I end up with it, what would the cost be to get up there, with out any internal engine mods? Also what mods would be best to even get close to 300? Well off to work I'll check back later. Thanks,

Check the rockers and strut towers for rust.

As far as 300hp Naturally Aspirated, good luck. You'll have to slap a blower on and then do a cam or rockers with supporting mods and a pulley drop to touch 300.

Thanks for the info I will be studying that guide, I figured with about 260 HP from the factory on the GTP performance Group
an extra 40-60 horse wouldnt be to hard to come by.
