I have a problem that i dont think my nearest chev dealer has a clue on.. I have a loud bang in the front right side of my 04 gtp when I go from forward to reverse.. I have checked it out somewhat myself. When its up in the air, and i hold the brake and give it some gas in reverse, it makes a loud bang, nothing moves on the outer parts, like the hub, and the halfshaft dont even move, seems like the noise is comin from the output shaft on the tranny, also when it bangs that end right by the tranny kinda shifts a little? not sure if splines are wore in half shaft, or output shaft on tranny, someone also said somethin about a bearing or somethin in tranny that can go bad and cause this bang. Lookin for some good advice on this, can anyone help me out?? Thanks..
