I actually read your link before I signed up. In fact, your link is why I signed up! I haven't been able to find a detailed write up on do's and don'ts so when I found yours I figured this MAY be a good forum!

That link is one of the reasons I came on here too. I bought my GP and loved it to the point I ended up dumping tons of money and time into it. I may not have had as much money into it as others here, but I do have a 34 page build thread that puts the amount of time in perspective.

I love this forum. The guys here are great and we have a few very knowledgeable ones who have been there and done that. If you need any help, try the search bar first, then feel free to make a post if you can't find what you're after. Welcome again, and I hope you enjoy your time with GPF.

I like this car, its a cool ride and its already SC'd. It's actually my wifes car. I had an Acura TL that I was very much in love with. We are having another kid and needed a bigger family car so I traded in my TL and bought my wife an SUV and i took over the GP (since I was the one keeping up on the maintenance anyway) and now I am thinking of making this my project car.

I am a big autocross guy (kinda) but spending money on tires every season sucks. I don't have alot of money for toys (too many kids) so this GP is gonna be a slow process. I also figured I would keep this car because they don't make them anymore. thats a cool factor itself.

I like the idea. You can do simple little things over time and just keep building it better. Keep an eye on the for sale section as some good deals pop up all the time.
