    i went and got everything i needed that nght and let it sit till morning and did it the next day not saying you got towait that long but should deffinatly wait to let the engine cool
    04 GT2: 180 t-stat, cold air intake, reptile tune, plog, hv3, gt1 cam, 90#springs, new push rods, new lifters, port polished heads, lim, uim and tb, 06 Impala brakes and steel brake lines. Cosmetic: black roof rails, under glow, Pontiac ground light, blue hud dic radio controls and cluster. To come custom hood.

    I am small enough where I can probably reach back there with no problem well the eng is cold. I am a skinny person ^ . ^ but, if that fails I use the bungy cord trick and pull back the eng

    Belaive me, I know, I still got a burn on my hand from my last car over a year ago. I was checking the bottom radiator hose well the eng was just on!

    it also gives you better access to get a rench back there and get better leverage when you move the dog bones and all that

    I always pull my engine forward with a bungee cord lol


    but i heard a ratchet strap works better

    Thanks man! With my luck I am going end up having to bungy the eng forward :/ They sell bungy cords at AZ by chance? If not there a home depot close by AZ.

    I am going to probably have to buy that OEM/Vacuum switch socket, or I'm going burn myself if I rent the OEM/Vacuum switch socket and do it AZ right?
