So is there something you guys or gals want to tell me being a new owner of a Grand Prix.
Ok my question is I was scoping out the GPs in the Members Rides.
Why is there so many of you with Radar Detectors in your windshields?
I have never had to have one in any of my Jeeps. Just trying to be funny.
my last Cherokee would go 0 to 60 18 seconds lol

We have radar detectors because we are trying to be smart about being dumb.

20 + years in jeeps never had the need to go fast when you get a wapping 10mpgs at 55mph.
The dealer told me that my GP is in the shop and will know what the issue is with the brakes and blower motor tomorrow.
so maybe with a little luck I can be buying me a radar detector this weekend or just suction cup my GPS on the glass.
One other question whats the roof rails for??? Looks or do they have a fuction?

If you do get a radar detector, buy a nice one like Valentine 1 or passport. Roof Rails are for looks they just set off the whole car for some reason.

do your research with radar detectors. ive used many (passport 8500, rx65 is the one i currently own, had v1, v995, countless whistlers/cobras my cheap friends used)... it all comes down to what you are expecting and willing to pay. that said, my rx65 does just as good of a job for $200 as a valentine v1. and it falses alot less in the city.

Here is the last YJ I built which was a year ago. Had a buyer before I could finish it. I was wanting to stretch the rear axle out. but the guy had a lot of dead presidents that he want me to have. lol. Just to show what I have done with Jeeps. Well still in the works trading my 01 Cherokee for the Grand Prix hoping its a goes good, will be finding out later tonight on what the cost is from the shop that the dealer took it to.(dealers cost) that is. And maybe I will be the owner of my 4th Grand Prix.

Oddly, green seems to be one of the more sought-after colors. Good luck with the search!
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

This is becoming a bummer finding a nice Grand Prix. I have looked at 3 different Grands 2 GTs and a special anniversary addition. All three had the same rust issues underneath the plastic skirting that covers the rockers

Could travel south for a decent one but it's pretty hard to find one without rust up here.
