    i have a 2000 grand am gt and i was wondering if i can use a regular wrench to install wheel bearing hub and axel nut because i dont have a torque wrench i know they say not to but i think just by hand i cant over tighten the spacificate torque specifacatin

    Yeah, my buddy has done a lot of hubs and never used a torque wrench and all those cars are still out on the road no problems.

    Yes, I just changed out my front drivers side hub and CV axle, all without a torque wrench.

    Should you use one, yes.

    If not, should you tighten them super piss tight, yes.

    at machingunsquad i was wondering if i need to lift both sides to do the wheel bearing hub or can i just lift one side put a jck stand for stabability and do it like that without both wheels off the groung

    if you only working on one side only jack and support that side. no need to put the whole front end up in the air.


    and if you have no air tools, and have stock front brakes. put the spare tire on then take the axle nut off. a 3 foot pipe works wonders.

    looks to be 36mm, but since your going to need one anyway, just ask the auto parts store.
