I don't see it being a bad investment. I had a friend buy a repo'd 98 Daytona from a buy here pay here and it ran pretty good. He ended up driving it for like 6 months then making a cash sale for more than he paid.

Keep in mind general maintnance, Oil filter, oil, spark plugs, wires, air filter, pcv, cabin filter, valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets, wheel bearings, maf, struts, and o2 sensors are all things that should be checked or replaced on any used vehicle purchase. As long as you're prepared for that, you won't be let down.
