    What?

Can you try re-telling this problem in a complete sentence??

We need to know your problem or else we can't say say what the real problem might be.

Please be more specific if you want answers.

A symptom list would be ideal.

If your blower doesn't work on one or more speeds probably your resistor.

If it doesnt work at all could be your igniton switch you'll need a multi meter to test the voltage at the switch. It involves removing the knee panel.

Rarely do I see BCMs go bad in the pre 03 grand prixs. That would be the very last thing I'd replace..

Okay its simple. Your resistor is bad, 1 or more settings go bad..your high is a seperate relay built into the resistor thud why it works on just that setting... But your igniton switch is also bad.. Sounds like under load your accessory is dropping out. It's common and doesn't take too long to change either.

I can assure you it is definitely not your bcm.

I would also like to note you aren't supposed to be able to pull out the key BUT that will not effect its operation...
the ignition switch is the back portion of the key cylinder and when changing it the key portion won't be changed so even with the new ignition switch the key will still pull out. I just wouldn't worry about the key coming out. lol
