I am the new proud owner of a 2000 Grand Prix GT. I am looking for someone to direct me in the right way. I am trying to find some starter mods that would help the visual aspect and the performance. Im not looking to become a race king just looking for something to give my GP a lil more attitude. I really want to upgrade my headlights to HID or Projectors but i dont know which one would be better. Hope to hear for you guys and get started in the GP community , Thanks

    Welcome!

Best for lighting would be projectors with HID's in them. Either buy them ready made or retrofit them yourself. Takes some effort though.

As for performance, start out with an intake.

Debadge it as well. Other than that what they said above will work. Lower it and all

    theretrofitsource.com

You need stock headlight capsules, retrofit projectors, most go with Mini Morimotos H1. And an HID kit. Then you modifiy the stock capsules to fit the projector and put it all back together. It's pretty easy. There is a write up somewhere on here I'm sure.

Could do an LED swap like I did, but that's a lot of work and very time consuming.

    Also 04+ needles.

    Welcome.

    Here's the cheap mod thread:
    http://www.grandprixforums.net/ultim...0-a-49055.html

    Flip your dog bones:
    http://www.grandprixforums.net/hid-p...ips-47291.html

This is a thread on retrofit HID projectors; it's for the newer body style, but will give you the idea:
    http://www.grandprixforums.net/hid-q...ors-62358.html
    http://www.grandprixforums.net/hid-p...ips-47291.html

Don't be afraid to use the search function to find specific info on the forum. It took me a while to find it, it's one the top of the page in black next to the little magnifying glass.

What color is your ride? We all want pics.
