    Hello--

I am a current 2000 Bonneville owner (50K miles) and am considering jumping ship (due to an underlying and very annoying problem with the '00-'05 Bonnevilles that I cannot seem to alleviate). I am specifically looking for the older body style 2-door Grand Prix ('97 to '03 I believe?) as I like the look and just want a nice-driving, sporty, affordable car. The Grand Prix fits the bill. Whether a GT or GTP, I don't know--I'll let you tell me.

Which section can I ask mechanical questions (engine, trans, suspension)? I want to make sure the problem inherit with my Bonneville does not apply to the Grand Prix! I'll elaborate in the appropriate section.

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Welcome to the community.

If your Bonneville is non-supercharged, post up in the naturally aspirated section, if its supercharged then obviously in the supercharged section. For the transmission post up in the 4T65E section and for suspension post up in the brakes and handling section.

Theres also the Tech Section for anything relating to other areas that are not engine, transmission, or suspension specific.

Oh, and thank you for asking about that rather that making the introduction a question session too, I personally appreciate that.
