Hello there! I am excited to be picking up my new 1999 Grand Prix GT tomorrow black in color. The previous owners are good friends of mine and have owned the car since new. I am extremely excited to get my hands on the car tomorrow, especially having owned a 2001 silverado which had absolutely horrible fuel economy. Anyway, thanks for letting me introduce myself!

    Sup.

13 city and 15-17 freeway aint bad for a 5.3 truck though.

Hopefully this car is a little better.

This is true but the amount of stop and go I did in it really killed me! Can't wait to get it!

2001 silverado is a sexy truck, not going to lie. The GT is better on gas, but not by much and faster. I work 1 mile from my house and I go through $15/week in gas. (however I like to accurate fast, eats more gas)

I hear you on that... first two GTP's I went to look at were black on black... Didnt have a flashlight in my wifes car, so i had to check them out with the flashlight app on my iphone5... Kinda sucked.
    congrats on your purchase though.

I bought my car at night, about the time the guy (owner of the car lot) brought the car over to my house it was sunset. After the test drive it was night, and missed all these dings the car had, which I did not see. I still got a good deal beacuse, the guy that owns the car lot, did not realize it was a GT, until I paid for my car and he did the paper work. The car was listed as a SE. ^ . ^ He told me I was lucky and got my car at auction price. :P 2k 132k miles
