    Hi Everyone,...I Hope We Can All Share Our Grand Prix EXPERIENCES & Learn Some Relavent FIXES Also..!? I OWN 2 IDENTICAL '08 ( Last Model Made ) - Grand Prix's, 3.8 Liter,6 Cylinder...& Have a "Check Engine" Light on Both of Them That Came on @ ARound 60,000 Plus Miles...Anyone Tell Me ....How to Turn off This Light? I Checked the Codes That Came Up & Replaced The Gas Cap as Was Indicated...But The Light is "Still ON"...PLEASE HELP,...Anyone..???

    What codes exactly came up?

    Welcome!

    Probably evap.

    You should be able to erase codes with your scanner. If you don't have one, you can disconnect your negative (black) battery terminal for like an hour. If the codes return, it's likely you have a dirty evap canister.
    Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
    Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
    Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
