I cant wait to see the pics. I am kicking myself for not saving up more cash to get the GTP! All I needed was $500 more and would had a 01 GTP. I was without a car for a year, so I can not wait any longer!

definitely going to get pics up asap but today I had yet another problem with the car I'm assuming the shift cable is getting hung up somehow or may be broke somewhere along the line. Whats happening is I can push my shifter from drive to park but it will not pull back down. anyone have this problem and know a quick fix?? (the linkage is all hooked up properly at the shifter and I can still shift it manually from under the hood) thanks in advanced!

got the shift lock release button to push down but it didn't help the matter. Also I dont see what the shift lock release even does? it doesn't even make contact with anything when pressed all the way down. Any other ideas to help with my shifting problem? thanks again!

If you open the hood you should be able to see the trans linkage and if its engaging correctly.

yea i can manually change gears from under the hood but when the shifter is being moved nothing under the hood moves. I'm assuming the cable is broke or hung up somewhere. I was just hoping someone may have had this happen before and had a quick fix for it!
