it shouldnt take long its prolly the coupler. you can get it from zzperformance along with 2 bottles of gm s/c oil. dont spill that stuff on you becasue you wont get any female action for 3 weeks

Yup, use a cheap spray bottle and empty the snout the best you can before cracking it open and changing the coupler.

Should I change the snout bearings out also?

Probably won't be the bearings but the coupler wears out and causes the marbles in a can sound... It's a $10 part... Bearings are a different story but would probably not need changing! How many miles on car?
