Sarah,

Thanks for your response and to my knowledge the brakes were not installed new by the dealership where I purchased the car, they were changed by the previous owner and are still in good condition - maybe 85-90% new. I believe the issue might be that the calipers need greased so the pads align equally with the rotors. Any advice would be helpful.

Is there anyway to override the selective cylinder engine management system? - I don't like it activating at low speeds.

I also have another more serious issue that I am going to take up with the dealership before my 1000-mile/30-day warranty runs out. The automatic headlight function works intermittently, and sometimes the lights shut off while I am moving - then I cannot even turn them on manually? Do I have a setting messed up or is there something wrong with my headlight 'light' sensor??? This is concerning because last night (in the dark) - I started the car with the remote starter, put the key into the ignition - then couldn't get the headlights to come on AT ALL - no matter where I turned the switch (auto-or-on), they would not come on. After turning the car off several times and locking the doors, then unlocking again and re-starting the car, they finally came on. One other thing that happened is we stopped to pick up takeout and put the car in park with the engine running - after about 5-mins, the headlights turned off, but wouldn't come back on when I started moving again - it's very strange. I have looked in the OM but this is not something it addresses - Any ideas? Please HELP!

Thanks.
