    Good evening all!

This is my first post, so I hope I am using it correctly.

I own a 2006 Grand Prix and discovered a few days back that my blower motor for the heat (I live in Michigan) started making a slight grinding/murmuring sound when turned on. The sound was constant from low to high, if you will. Yesterday when I turned the heat on the blower motor did not work at all. I tried low to high on both heat and AC and nothing. However, I did notice that when I was driving i got slight heat from the vents. When parked or idling I got nothing. Today, I drove about 50mph and was able to get more heat from the vents. I guess the higher the speed the more heat.

What are the opinions out there about my issue? Blower motor? Blower motor resistor? ??????

    Please help!

    Thanks in advance.

    Jason

if you heard it grinding its the blower motor. you need a new one or one from a junk yard.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

Replaced mine with one from Orielly Auto parts. 3 screws and it was out. Easy fix. was under $50 if I remember correctly.
