    Hi all,

I just bought my first 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and not wanting to make any mistakes with this car, I have read some of the threads that have been posted and found out some helpful insight. My question that I have is, can I put the mid grade premium gas or do I need to use the high grade premium and do I need to use Coolant with Dex-cool in it or does it really matter which coolant I use?

    Can't mix dex-cool...

Can't run anything LESS than 91.

    Ever.

If you flush out the old dex completely...you can use whatever you want...I recommend the cheap yellow or green crap.

Definetly spend the extra couple bux at the pump and put in the good stuff. We all feel your pain, you're not alone. But if you want the car to run right you need to use the 91+

yeah, has no phosphates, or silicates, thus no instant corrosion protection.

    Totally compatible with anything.
