it just maybe set up right, but you need a way to do live scans on the car to see if its got any KR, before it goes boom!

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

So it is possible to be setup right and safe w/o intercooling? Dont get me wrong i want it as fast as possible but not having to buy expensive upgrades. Dont really want to buy a scanning devise(had other plans w/ my limited budget for the car) but i will if it means saving my engine. Is there somewhere i can rent one or will a normal code reader work?

I dont know its crazy fast and runs, sounds great. Im just a little nervous not know what all is done and being someone elses project. Im not familiar w/ the sc engine. Ive had one but it was stock and just did regular maintainance too it.

you should get a scan gauge so you can see whats going on, KR and so on.

like a aeroforce or the other kind.

if you have a smart phone the cheap way is with the torque app, you need a obd2 plug and transmitter, cost about 30 bucks, plus the app.

its not the most accurate but its something.

search "torque app" here, there's a few threads. and google it, ebay seems to be the place for the best price.

It had major chatter today when i started it up. So i took a video of it. Sounds like its coming from the back of the headers. It has done this some before but not as bad.

kinda sounds like a exhaust leak.

does it go away after its all warmed up?

a vid with a rev or two would help too.

and thats no stock pulley on the sc.

dont "ape" them, just make sure their not loose or missing. you can snap them bolts.
