It's my third Pontiac, but my first Grand Prix. It's a normally aspirated 3.8L and a 2005. I love it as far as used cars go (I can always complain about previous owners neglect, etc.), but there is one big problem I've been researching here and elsewhere on the internet, but have not found a solution for: the HVAC fan stops working whenever the cabin temperature gets really hot. Since it's really hot in Oregon right now (okay, we're better off than most of the country), so I really miss my air conditioning. Since I work nights, this is not a problem except on my weekends, but it's killing me because I can only work on it when it's blazing hot outside! I'll try to find the appropriate place on this forum to post this issue, since this is for introductions...

This may be related to the blower motor, this is just a suggestion, not a diagnosis. I encourage you to consult with a certified technician for an official diagnosis.

    Please keep us posted.
