    hey guys been lurking for a few weeks. figured id join lol. just bought a 99 silvermist gtp coupe. was completely stock except pioneer HU and impala rims. has 137k miles and i got it for a steal. always wanted one now ive got it lol. looking to mod very soon.

    so i borrowed a cheap scanner and noticed there is no kr readout on it... but it showed me at idle i was at 20 degrees timing. when i revved it up it showed 16 degrees for a second. is that kr? sorry for noob question lol

    no you have to have a correct scanner to show kr. If you have an android phone you can buy an obd2 to bluetooth adapter and buy the app torque and it'll show kr.

    bought a 2000 pcm and a zzp pulley changer today. is the 2000 pcm diff from 1999??

    yes ive read it lol. no im not changing the pulley just yet. just couldnt pass up the deal. guy only wanted 50 bux for all. ive been reading as much as a man with four children and a full time can, but i dont specifically see anythiong about 2000 pcms being different.

    97 are one year only 98-03 is the same with the exception of the 98 maf table and the 03 trans stuff.
