    IM NEW TO THIS IVE BEEN READING A LOT OF OTHER PEEPS POSTS AND RIGHT NOW IM DOIN THE GOOD INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET... AND MY SUPERCHARGER IS STUCK... ALL THE BOLTS ARE OFF... BUT IDK IF SUMONE WHO PREVIOUSLY CHANGED IT PUT SUM TYPE OF SEALANT ON THE SUPERCHARGER GASKET BUT IT WAS PRACTICLY GLUED TOGETHER... ANY IDEAS ANY ONE... I DIDNT WANT TO PRY IT CUZ I DONT WANT TO DAMAGE IT.. I GUESS I CAN TAKE OFF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD OFF W/ THE SUPERCHARGER STILL ATTACHED... RIGHT?

    Its possilbe someone used a RTV type gasket maker and it being a pain.

    If all the supercharger bolts out, just try pry up on it. I normally grab the snout and just lift it off.

    it was probably rtv'ed on the last time it came off. you sure you have all the bolts out? theres one that goes straight down on the snout of the blower by the pulley.

    and no you cant get the lim off with s/c still on. it needs to come off.

    Yeah i lifted n pulled and no budge but made sure all bolts were off.. I spent about 2 hours loosening all bolts on intake manifold.. Its loose but daylight was slim.. So im gonna try take it off with s/c today after work...

    So with that being said n done i did the front valve cover gasket about 2 months ago and the rear i was unsure on doing it but now that i will have im off is thir a trick on taking off that bracket where alternator is mounted on... ? So i can get to my rear valve cover gasket..?

    DO THEY HAVE SUM KIND OF SPRAY TO LOOSEN THE S/C FRM THE GASKET BETWEEN THE L.I.M. I DONT WANT TO DAMAGE THE S/C I KO THEY R PRICY BUT I WILL MAKE SURE TO CKECK FOR THAT BOLT NEXT TO THAT BLOWER.. THANKS GOOD TIP I DNT RECALL IF I DID THAT ONE...

    sounds like after you have all the bolts out, its just up to your upper body strength. rtv can be some strong stuff. no spray im aware of that will break it free, its a rip it off deal now lol

    whats up guys... i have a question for ya'll...
    i changed the intake manifold gasket on my 02' GTP AND PUT IT ALL BACK TOGETHER.. WELL I DIDNT SEAL IT GOOD N NOTICED MY OIL WAS GETTING LIKE A MILK SHAKE TEXTURE SO TURNED OFF MY CAR WITH THE QUICKNESS HAD IT RUNNING FOR NO MORE THAN 5 MIN... MY QUESTION IS... WHEN I TAKE THE UIM GASKET OFF.. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS TIGHTEND N TORQUED TO SPECS.. CAN I STILL RE-USE THE SAME GASKET OR SHOULD I GET A NEW ONE???... AND I DID MORE INVESTIGATING AND FOUND WHERE MY MISTAKE WAS THAT CAUSED THE LEAK...
