I own a 2007 grand prix GT and I recently replaced my stock air filter with a K&N air filter and now my check engine light is on and to make things worse I cannot unlock my car or start my car with the keyless entry. Would this have anything to do with the oil on the air filter gumming up the mass airflow sensor and or is this 2 seperate issues?

good chance the maf got oiled up from the k/n filter, get the car scanned see what they come up with, clean the maf.

cant see the key fob being related, check the battery in it lately?

have not had time to get the code checked yet. I think I just might replace the air filter back to oem and see if the code goes away. The batt in the keyless entry is new and the last time i had issues with this I had to get it reprogrammed. I find it wierd that they would happen at the same time. Would I use brake cleaner to clean the sensor?
