    Greetings fellow Grand Prix owners...

I came across this site by accident and started reading the related information... very informational and very needed! I am in living in the Savannah GA area and own a 2005 GP GXP. I bought the car a couple of years ago and I am keeping everything original on it. I have not added anything such as flowmaster mufflers or did any engine work... I am basically trying to keep the car the way it was when it was bought by the orginal owner... mechanically speaking.

I have added a subwoofer on top of the Monsoon system and recently added... nevermind. I will tell you about that sometime in the near future. It is an add-on that not very many expect to find on a GXP... or any car for that matter. Once I complete the project. I will post pics and maybe a video. I ran into some minor complications with install... nonetheless... I will work around this and find a fix.

    Thanks.

    Michael.

In Feb 2011, I got my hands on a Grover Stuttertone 1510 air horn and it was actually a complete setup. It was not until the other day I was able to get it running but in the process, I was having some complications. Everything ranging from the air tube making a quick contact with a hot surface... twice... and a power wire disconnecting because LOSER didn't do a hot job on the crimping. NONETHELESS, it is finally done. The air tubing got moved. Instead of going through the firewall (or as some would know it as the new term... the bulkhead), it runs through the passenger side fender and through the door wiring rubber grommet. If that makes sense...

You can visit my site and check out the install pics and an video clip.

I had the sound turned up all the way on my lap top and almost crapped my pants when the horn sounded. I can just imagine what it sounds like in person!

How long would the horn last if you just held it? Or would something burn out before the tank went empty first.

Actually, nothing would burn out. The tank's pressure would drop and automatically turn the air compressor on to refill the tank. I have not had the chance to see how long I could run the horn before running out of air. I set the switches up as a master on the compressor and a momentary on the solenoid which controls air flow to the horn.

I was at the track one night with my head under the hood of the car, and this dude in an F350 was goin around and blowin one of these things, I could tell he was a couple hundred yards away. He crept up behind me and scared the **** out of me. I turned around and put my 3/8" ratchet through the driver's window. I would have destroyed that motherf**ker if he hadn't sped off.
