Thread: New Grand Prix GT owner in Arkansas

So I just put a down payment on a 2000 Grand Prix GT. So what are the good things about the GT?

Well I imagine that 200 bhp is helping.

I have seen wikiapedia and edmunds facts about it but I want to here some things from actual owners about them.

Im actually from Conway so about 30 minutes from Little Rock. I am excited to begin customizing my GT

I have family that lives in the Ward-Beebe area. Thinking about moving down there myself. I can't stand the cold up here in Wisconsin.
I have had my 2008 3.8L for about six months and I love it. Drives and handles nice.

Can't stand the cold? Wait until you say you can't stand the heat. It is hot now. I am excited to pick up the Grand Prix GT and begin modding it. It had a nice kick over my old Hyundai Sonata. Plus 23 more horse power.

So I finally got my 2000 Grand Prix GT. I do have to say the engine is nice but the car its self is janky. Some of the problems I know of. Leaking heater core, stripped windshield wippers, back passenger side window track is broken meaning the window won't stay closed, all 4 speakers are blown, the seats have lost all comfort, the ignition is messed up so it takes 5 minutes to get the key to turn, Hi beams do nothing, fuel gauge and the fuel information the digital guage don't work, bad interior quality, lights don't all work the way they should, no key fob. This list goes on and on. Going to take quite awhile to repair all of this.
