Today I purchased myself a 2008 Grand Prix SE. Exterior is Midnight Blue Metallic. Ebony cloth interior. My names Nick and I am from Wisconsin. I also have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. Dark blue for exterior with tan cloth interior for that. The GP has 88k miles and I paid $7,000. A lot of miles for 08 but when searching for a GP all I found was 05-06's with 100k+ miles for over 8k It the price decent? I'm content with it...I know it's not a GT or fully loaded with leather..but I didn't really want a GT because of insurance reasons and leather I don't really like. Only thing I don't like about this SE is not sunroof...I'll just have to get used to it lol.

Here's a picture of my GP. It looks like dark gray due to there being no sun outside..but it is blue Needs cleaned up but to cold today for that.

As with you, I am also from Wisconsin. For 8,000$ and for only having 88,000 miles on the car I think you paid a fair price. Hopefully there is nothing wrong with the transmission or under body. For some perspective, I paid 14,000$ for my red 2008 3.8L Base GP that had 69,000 miles on it last October. It currently has 82,000 miles on it. There are a ton of things you can do to these cars. Just look around and you will become hooked.

Yea I am planning on tinting the windows..just not in a huge hurry. Don't really want to pay someone $100+ to do it, and don't want to try myself..just being greedy right now

So far no problems other than a noise coming from driver side rear. I do believe it's the shocks. Nothing I'm worried about though. It's kind of hard to figure out what it is by yourself having to sit in the back seat and push down and try to pin point exact location of noise
