Hello all, I am the proud owner of a 2004 Grand Prix GT (GT1), maroon in color, tan interior. New to this forum. If anyone is wondering why the unusual username, that is my name on my Ford Ranger forum also, so I kept it the same. Excited to explore some Grand Prix info.!

Welcome! Tons of stuff here, plenty to read!
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Thanks, I bought my 2004 GT with 213,000 miles, how long do these run? I've heard that this 3800 motor is bulletproof!

Most people don't seem to stay enthusiasts past 300,000 miles, so I couldn't tell you. With regular maintenance, you'll have the car a long time. Plus, replacement engines/transmissions aren't too hard on the wallet.
