    I'd rather just be safe than sorry. I had to run 1.9's on my gen 3 just to run a 3.4. OP just make sure you scan for kr when you do start modding more.

    Seen a GenV run a 3.4 on headers. Runs a tad too rich, crazy knock at the top end of 3rd. I'm sure if it was tuned a bit more carefully, it would run fine, but from what I've seen, a 3.6 + headers is faster and makes more hp, given that both are tuned well.
    Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
    Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
    Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
