Hello everyone, My name is Rob and I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Ive got a question and not sure where to put it so hopefully someone can lead me to the write spot.

I lost my remote keyless entry keyfob last night. I live in a apartment complex and if I dropped it outside and someone found it I dont want them to be able to get in my car. What can I do to somehow erase the program that is used to run that keyfob?

Also, I have a remote starter installed on my car also. I have a keyfob for that also but its only programed to start the car. It has a unlock and lock button on it but they dont work for my car..

    Welcome to GPF.

Your security problem is kind of an unusual one, my guess is that you'll have to have a dealer reprogram the car via a Tech2 and then match the keyfob you still have to that.
