You might want to also invest in a trans because those 22's are going to keep the factory one going for too long...
Welcome.

at least one welcome i think i can mod my car the way i want to its not your trans n u didnt buy the wheels ijs run what you like and i'll do the same
Welcome to the club. Relax though.. He is not telling you how to run your car etc....
The trans was mentioned because other members have had larger wheels on their GP's and have had trans failure due to the size of the wheels. Does it mean you will? no it doesn't. Everyone has their own taste in how they want their car to look, handle, and run.
hi.
cherry bomb exhaust huh, you dont know these cars very well, but thats understandable, becuase your new to this car type. The 3800 sounds like junk with aftermarket mufflers except BORLA. Magnaflow, flowmaster and cherrybombs will drone like a mofo and you will hate it. So stay with stock or buy borla.
borla sounds grt8 but im gonna mess around with it a little (muffler shop next door to my job)
@bluegtp91 thats a grt8 post so many jerks so far had me on the defensive but thats pure awesome advice thanks
Hi welcome to GPF

Welcome, glad to have you :>
...just to help clarify; I'm certain the other member meant no harm. We have a weak transmission in our vehicles. There's a couple of vendors that thrive on that. They rebuild and produce very nice products. Most generally agree that a heavy foot and 300+hp reduces the life of our tranny's tremendously.
The same is said for those who opt for heavy wheel options. Forged wheels are a big step in the right direction to keep weight down.
yea i understand im goin to school to be a GM automotive tech. and have always worked in the field (rebuilt caddy trans for a yr n a half) so i have a understanding but man it looks grt8 lol
