I hope its not all that difficult. I tore down my spare motor to send out parts of it to the machine shop. A couple of cylinders had water in them from what looked like leaking IM gaskets. The plan is to go .010 over, keep the stock heads, and stock cam. I want it to be a streetable daily and with my cam'd cars in the past it gets to be a hassle. If I can keep the motor "stock" internally and just do bolt-ons, then I should have everything I'm looking for!

On a side note, Lloyd Elliott's Port Works is local for me so I may have him clean up the heads. No port work, just smoothing out everything to help keep the KR down. I'm also fighting myself on getting the ZZP short stack IC set up so I can run a slightly smaller puller for a little more power. The trade off might be nitrous instead, but bottles run out!

I already have a ZZP ported blower with a modular pulley system (3.4 currently installed). I'll probably go with their 1.9 rockers and headers, although I haven't ruled out a set of Pacesetters. A buddy of mine is an excellent fabricator by trade so I have no doubts about getting them sealed up. Only other mods will probably be a ported LIM and a N* TB to match the blower (and supporting fender mount CAI).

My goal is 300 to the ground without a cam and although these mods may not get me there, it should be enough power to keep me entertained for a long while. I've had plenty of cars over the years that have been money pits and I'm looking to avoid that! I just want something to tinker with that makes decent power and is enjoyable to drive. I'd like to lower it just a bit, put a set of 17inch 5 spokes (ie Cobra R wheels), and probably do some brake upgrades. Another thing I saw on a local car was he had a newer leather interior in it. That is something I'd like to look into since I'm currently sporting a faded gray interior. I think once all this is done, it will be a car that I will keep for a long time.
