Just wanted to say a formal "hello" to everyone. I hope to frequent these threads and learn a lot about ups for my GTP. I searched and found this site because I am having a stalling problem with it. I just got it towed home from being stranded with it at a grocery store. I read a few posts / threads, got some ideas and I'll check it out tomarrow. Tonite is a little late.
A few ups I am hoping to do in the future when I have the money is getting a SLP cold air intake, undersized supercharger pulley-3.4", SD ram air hood, rear wing, and front air dam/ bumper. I have also kicked around the idea of throwing a 50 shot of Nitrous in it. Still thinking on that though.
First I gotta get it running again!

Welcome to GPF! Doesn't look like too bad of a starting list there, as long as you have the supporting mods to go along with it. Happy modding!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like your having the same problem as me. I have two post on here that might help you. They are "Need A Little Help" and "Supporting Mods For A 3.4" S/C Pulley". Youcan find them in the Engine-3.8L V6 Supercharged (L67)(L32) section. Hope this helps.

Just to follow up with the problem with my car; its still broke in my driveway. I haven't had much time or luck fixing it. I tried cleaning the maf screen, and throttle body with no luck at all. Then I replaced the fuel filter with no luck either. Got to work and the guys are telling me to replace the fuel pump. also had a guy say to check out the regulator. Checked the regulator, it is ok, but now I'm reading about a fuel pump resistor. How can I check that? Where is it located? What are the symptoms if that goes bad?

Just to clarify the problem again, my wife was driving the car and it hesitated and quit. Now, it starts no problem runs for about 10-30 seconds, chugs, then dies. I stuck a fuel pressure gauge on it and I am getting 45-50 psi then after starting the engine it steadily drops to about 10 psi chugs and quits. Any suggestions?

That turned out to be the fuel pump resistor pack.

I seem to have a problem if I let it idle for 5-15 mins. it will chug/ hesitate. Too damn cold to mess with now. I did, however, clean up a dirty air cleaner.(K and N). Will do more diagnostics this spring when it warms up. I actually gave this car to my oldest son and am helping put ground effects and new hood on. - Along with a new paint job.

Welcome. Make sure you go with some flow mods if your dropping to a 3.4 headers FTW. Also an open cone will work just fine for an intake
