    2003 3.1 GP - under normal driving engine stalls/bucks/hesitates at random times. Somtimes when taking off, sometimes when driving down the road - not consistent. Almost never dies though. RPMs dive momentarily.

    Items replaced; air filter, fuel filter, plugs & wires, EGR, Throttle position sensor and CPS. I have cleaned the MAF sensor.

    No codes thrown.

    Car has about 95k miles...

    You changed the CPS or CKPS?

    CPS= Camshaft Position Sensor

    CKPS= Crankshaft position sensor

    Sounds like to me its a faulty CKPS. Does your tach stop working at times untill you restart the car? If it is the CKPS you have to take off the balancer to change the sensor.

    My apologies - it was the CKPS...

    The tach does not stop working. It comes right back up after the stall.
