just did radio replacement on my 98, and the steering wheel controls for the audio required the purchase of a box to control the new radio. that doesn't help you...BUT, they did send some wiring diagrams that might.

thanks for the reply. my steering wheel controls still work, im thinking it might be a speed sensor for volume??? does anyone know if it was something offered on the factory radio? like when the volume adjusts when you go faster to help compensate for road noise... my 96 buick regal had this.?
