Hey all!! My name is Tracy and i own a 99 grand prix gtp supercharged. Im having a rather major issue with it. It started out just randomly stalling and now it starts up, runs for about 5 seconds or so and cuts out. I've had the fuel filter, fuel pump and the fuel pressure regulator replaced and still nothing. It has been at the garage for about a week now and they are not finding anything wrong with it. Anybody have any ideas???

well the guy at the garage told me he tested the crank position sensor and it's good...the check engine light was on and there were a few things but he told me he fixed that..but of course he never said what the codes were. someone else told me maybe the mass air flow sensor is bad. thats my next suggestion to him. then i guess the next step will be to the pontiac dealer. thanks for the welcome!!

If you suspect the maf just unplug it and see what happens
And to little to late but costco has a scanner for like 28 bucks that pulls and erases codes always good to know what codes pop up even if you cant or dont want to fix them your self
