    I'm new to this forum and Pontiac. Had my base 2008 GP a little over a year and am hearing a whining from under the hood that sounds like the power steering . Is this commmon? Any fixes short of replacing?

    welcome! first off check ur fluid, secondly search around the site. i know theres a bunch of threads on powersteering floating around
