to everyone. I bought a 2004 GP GT1 last Wednesday, and absolutely love it... and I can't wait to start modding it

Only down side.. although its almost a plus...

I'm a delivery driver... and since Wednesday (5 days) I've already put on 260 miles. I love driving it though so its okay, but hopefully it wont crap out on me... it now has 93k miles w/ a near perfect black leather interior... no idea how its that nice still but i am NOT complaining lol. Jsut gotta scrub the top of the back seats, their discolored form the sun... ah well.

Anyway. I'm definitely looking forward to learning how my car ticks form this so far great community.

I also reverse letters when i type, and i do it alot so i no longer correct it... its really annoying but there ya go. I'll get picks of my baby up asap, when my dad brings me the camera. Heck i might jsut take some with ym phone...

Its maroon (burgundy?) with black leather insides and a broken fornt bumper, scratched front driver wheel, and not ONE of the tires match another.. which will change in a month or two lol

if you want it to stay reliable and make your deliveries when youre supposed to i would highly suggest against modding it. they are great cars if taken care of and left moderately close to stock, but once i got far enough in i could never run the car for any extended period of time without breaking something.

Nope, nothing crazy for me. I'll end up improving intake, but no body kits ro anyhting b/c a) i live in eastern Oklahoma... lowered = dumb idea, and b)i dont particular like those looks.. I would love a functional ram air hood though. I'll be putting full synthetic in on its next oil change. I kinda want to see what it would look like without the rear spoiler, I'm not a huge fan of it.

I'm gonna replace the courtesy lights with red ones (since when i flick on the inside light it blinds me, and I frequently need that on to look at adresses or whatever) and get super bright headlights (heck, my fog lights are brighter than the headlights!) and I'll probably end up getting an overlay kit for the inside... jsut some neat appearance changes, and things to make the engine do more for less. I've been driving my dad's grand cherokee, so anyhtign that gets better gas mileage than that is GREAT by me.

functional ram air is pointless as the way its routed makes it unusable anyway.

no spoiler is ULTRA ugly. get a different one if the stock doesnt suit you.

get HID replacement bulbs and a set of projectors and youll be set.

Welcome, yea I agree with Bio, leave it stock & it'll be a great car. Yea body kits are kinda rice to me IMO, especially if its not intended to be fast lol. Functional Ram air hood would look sick on the 04 GP. Put some synthetic fluid in that baby & also check you tranny fluid & see if it reddish & not burnt.

    Show us some pics
176K Miles, Things Done: 25K Tranny, VC & LIM Gaskets Replaced, synthetic fluids all around.
Mods to come: CAI, Headers, Roller Rockers, U-bend & DP Delete, etc

My laptop has bluetooth so i'll try to send them to my computer off my phone, but i dunno if it will work or not. IF not, itll be a few days til i can get my hands on my camera.

I really like this hood but i think your right about the RAM air being useless now that I think about it.. the engine IS sideways... but that's okay for the do-it-yourself Fender intake system on the how-to section lol. In fact, I think this spoiler that goes with the hood is cool too.

As for headlights, I'll be doing the bake-them-to-clean-them thing I read, and paint them. Not sure what color, but i'll paint them. And get stealth bulbs to get rid of the egg yolks.

And in a few years ill need a paint job (there are a few spots of clear-coat peelings) so i'll change the color just slightly, into a more red than maroon color. I still like this one, its very very purdy.

Okay I'll take it down... but why does my VIN matter?

I know car thieves cut them off and stuff, but how can they use it against me?
