    Just bought a 1979 Grand Prix, less than 44k actual miles, 4.9L V8. Really happy to stumble across this forum. Hope there's some other oldies but goodies posting here. My name is Steph.

    3.4 pulley, 3" catless dp (ubend deleted), 3" exhaust split to 2.5 dynomax mufflers (no res), zzp plog, 4" spectre intake, alt rewire, under/overdrive pulleys, intense pcm, 3/4" zzp tb spacer, al 104's, 180* stat, msd coils/8.5mm wires, heatwrapped crossover, flipped db's, optima red top, sunpro st boost gauge: boosting 11lbs.

    Welcome, I'm relatively new here also and this seems to be a great group. Interested to see pics of your GP. If I was you, I would consider a 400 or 350 Pontiac swap. Bolt in and HUGE difference in power and driving enjoyment. Had a friend with a T-top 81 GP with 400 power and it was a great driving car. On the other hand, with the low miles and reliability of the 301, it should last forever. Classic Pontiacs Rock.
