    Hi,
    I have a 97 gtp with a few mods.
    mod list
    j.e. pistons 8.5-1
    xpz cam
    65 lb injecetors
    stage 3 ported heads
    ported lower intake
    ported upper intake
    rollmaster double roller timimg chain
    electric water pump
    comp cam oe-r lifters
    upgraded pushrods
    hp tunners program
and a whole lotta stuff I can't remember.

My problem is when the car is running the gear selector light on the dash will flicker on and off till it just goes off and doesn't come back on. when the light goes out I xcan't get it out of park un less I bypass it by shoving my key in the release slot. It also seems to shift funny when it does this. any suggestions

welcome...first off read the stickies in the sections you post in to see the rules...this is a no tech questions area, just for intros so your best bet for help is to basically rewrite this and put this in the General tech area. You'll learn soon enough and search is also your friend

you will soon, search is great on here and theres TONS of info...more then likely if you have a problem we've all had it, these cars all about fail the same so search, and if nothing then post a thread cause a lot of the vets on here get pretty sick of the same questions if ya know what i mean, but theres tons of info and cheap mods, and also very informative write ups all over the place

    Welcome.

Top tip, you have a supercharger, not an upper intake manifold.
