I think that the GXP, stock for stock might be quicker then the Z, but the Z does handle a little better, being a sports car and all (I don't want to speculate until I have a chance to "kill" one). My Jetta was a little faster from 60 up, but that's what a turbo and a lot of mods will do (especially at 4600ft elevation), faster, but kills reliability. I think that the GXP, given a few "easy" mods will be a barn burner...intake, exhaust, computer, and maybe cams and forced induction down the road. You really have to love having a reliable V8 and not a little 4cyl under the hood.
