Ok. I'm new to this site and I'm a new Grand Prix owner.(Well I've had her for almost 5 months, so she's a lil new). She's a Silver 99 GT Coupe with almost 109k miles on her. I need to replace my old rear stock speakers because they are blown. They're 6x9s. I need help on how to replace them and remove the big speaker grill in the back. If anyone has done it or knows how to please let me know. Thanks!!!!

welcome. Its a pita but its simple.

    -remove rear seat cushions
-undo 4 bolts, 2 big ones for the seat belts and 2 smaller harder to find ones near the bottom edges of the seat
-lift the rest of the seat assembly up and then out (they have hooks on the back)
then you will be able to see the plastic retainers holding the rear deck piece, remove them
    -replace speakers
-repeat everything i said in reverse order

Welcome and 99prixgt just explained it just right. If you need further help I could snap some pics if you need.
1998 Grand Prix GTP Stock for now mods to come soon. Alpine 9885 head unit, 2 JLW3V2 10s, 2 Jensen 650x2 amps, and Tsunami wiring all the way around.
