Hey everyone from warming up Montana!

I just bought a 96 Grand Prix SE and the gas gauge jumps all over the place. I ordered a new sending unit, but I can't find any information on the web to install it. Anyone else have a heads up on this?

I believe you have to drop the fuel tank in order to pull the pump and replace the sending unit.

drop your back seat then lift the carpet in the trunk to see if there's a trap door to get to the fuel pump.

I was hoping that I could pull it from the trap door, but no such luck on the 96. I'm going to have to drop the tank. YUCK!
