    Hi all, name is Tom..First time poster...I am curious as to how to stop my doors from locking automatically every time I get in my car...Its a 2001 GT....Thanks for any help on this...Tom

    you'll need the owners manual then look up lock programming.

    you can change everything from the horn honking on fob lock, or the lights that flash or not as wel as the door locking.

    google for your manual, they are out there in pdf format for free.

    on 04 plus you just do it through the personal programming setting in the dic and change it not to auto lock i set mine to not auto unlock when in park not sure about 97-03

    I guess im just really sdense, because I have the owners manual, and I still dont see where to turn off the auto lock feature...I will read thru it all again, thanks for the replies everyone...
