Remove the cooling fan assembly, battery terminal, serpentine belt, power steering pump. you will have to take the 2 motor mount bolts out of the passenger side mount to get the lower power steering bolt out, support the front of the motor with a jack. Remove Ac compressor, starter and set aside, disconnect the fuel lines. You will have to remove the upper intake to do this to give you the room to take the fuel lines off the fuel rail, There is a bolt you will have to take off on the side of the block(drivers side) below the black pipe that goes into the lower intake manifold after you remove the the air box. When you take the fuel fitting out of the fuel rail be careful of the aft screw fitting it has to be fairly level to get it to come out easy if it is hard to come out watch out as the o ring will fly off and that is a $20 O ring set. remove the transmission inspection plate and the torque converter bolts. Remove the rest of the electrical connections and vacuum lines. Remove trans to engine bolts and do not forget about the ***** bolt from the passenger side wheel well. I find it easier to remove the trans and engine as one unit along with the complete wiring harness. you must remove the CV axles, If you do this do not forget to disconnect both ABS sensor wires and the down stream OT sensor wires.
