Crossed off another checkpoint on my bucket list by recently buying a 2001 GTP. My best friend had one in high school, and I've never gotten over that love. Took it to the mechanic the very next morning to get it up to snuff. I purchased it knowing that it needed help, but it's clean and the price was right. Hopefully I'll hear back from them Monday or Tuesday on what all they found.

Welcome, and what's up with your B-pillar? Did someone get locked out & go after it w/a coat hanger? If that cop is your neighbor, take it easy around town- he knows where you live......

The plastic is really faded. I've done some brainstorm and some google-searching, but I haven't come up with a great solution yet.

Maybe local junk/salvage yard? How many miles on the clock? If your somewhat handy you can save yourself some BIG bucks by doing simpler maint. jobs yourself right in that driveway. Brakes, struts, fluids&filters, belts, hoses, coolant elbows, starter, alternator, plugs&wires to name a few. LOTS of great info & people on this forum !! Good luck.............E.

It's a 2001 with 120k on it. I'm good with all of the regular items, but it needed part of the exhaust welded back on and possibly a new rack and pinion. I wanted to have it looked over as well, so I can be aware of all the little piddly things I can do as time/money allows.
